Sleeping out for a worthy cause
This June saw Reventon’s Founder and CEO, Chris Christofi, sleep out on one of the coldest nights of the year to raise vital funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness. Aiming high, Chris set an ambitious fundraising target of $60,000, which he exceeded thanks to his determination and of course the generosity of his network and supporters.
Vinnies CEO ambassador
Thanks to Chris’ efforts, he was made a Vinnies CEO ambassador in recognition of his previous fundraising efforts, where in 2018 he was in the top 1% of fundraisers out of all 1,463 CEO’s taking part, and for his continuing efforts and support this year. Helping those experiencing homelessness is a cause very close to Chris’s heart, and one he and wife Billie have personally supported for many years, so Chris would like to acknowledge how much it means for him personally to be an ambassador for Vinnies.

A thank you to all
Chris would like to extend his sincere gratitude to every single person and organisation who showed their support during his fundraising efforts. It means that more people experiencing homelessness will be able to get the support, security, and warmth they desperately need.
‘Sleeping in a warm safe bed at night isn’t a reality everyone enjoys’, says Chris, ‘Knowing that homelessness is an everyday reality for many Melburnians, I was inspired to partake in a fundraiser that aimed to help alleviate their plight.
‘My accomplishment to raise over $60,000 to help Melbourne’s most vulnerable is all thanks to you!’
Setting targets for 2020
Chris has already set his sights on next years’ event, where he will raise the bar once more and aim to fundraise a huge $80,000 for the charity, committing Reventon to donate 75 cents for every dollar raised.
‘I’m 100% fired up to break through the roof next year and help out more fellow Melburnians who are doing it tough on the street (every day of the week). We’ll be at it again next year so look out for 2020.’
