In 2016-17, 10,570 Sydneysiders and 6478 Melburnians headed to Brisbane, this was the strongest internal migration rate of any capital city.

More money to spend as you’ll have less to pay on a mortgage. More time to enjoy with friends and family with less commuting, and compared to Melbourne, more sunshine!

Brisbane has good economics

The Suncorp CCIQ Pulse Survey revealed that confidence in Queensland’s economy is also strong, and that’s another solid reason why Melburnians and Sydneysiders are making the move.
